Hi, my name is Salamatu. I am from west Africa. I’m a lover of big families, laughter, soulful music, fashion, bright colors and taking pictures. I was born in a country where I could watch my parents walk down the street and buy an authentic African garment for a special occasion, to me coming to the U.S and growing up in a community where African clothes was no longer available to me. I grew up Yernin for the availability of African clothes, of all styles and colors. From that, Royal Ellements was born.
