When the COVID-19 Pandemic hit we all rushed out to try to get masks to stop the spread of the virus, but masks were nowhere to be found. So, like many other people I started sewing my own masks. Now masks are readily available in stores, but usually, they’re the same old boring blue disposable masks or basic black or white cloth masks. Look around you at the beautiful skin tones of black women and girls. Do these basic masks compliment us? Clearly, they were not made with us in mind. So, I created a line of masks that enhance the natural beauty of Black women. The line is called the “Brown Girl Series.” The colors were selected to complement and enhance the beauty of Black women and the many shades of beautiful black skin that we have. Whether your skin is caramel, cinnamon, mocha, or chocolate we have a mask that will embellish your beauty. Why look ordinary when you know you are fabulous?
