BLK MKT Vintage describes itself as curators of a collection of Black curiosities, heirlooms and collectibles. Founded in 2014 by partners Kiyanna Stewart and Jannah Handy, the Brooklyn business finds and shares objects that document Black life, culture and history.

After years of selling online and at markets such as the Brooklyn Flea, the pair opened a shop in Bedford-Stuyvesant in 2019. Today the business operates mainly as an online shop and digital archive, with pop-up appearances around New York.
