TMC Financing Welcomes Kalia Clark to Advance SBA 504 Lending in Hawai'i

TMC Financing Welcomes Kalia Clark to Advance SBA 504 Lending in Hawai'i

HONOLULU, Aug. 21, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- TMC Financing, the nation's top provider of SBA 504 commercial real estate loans, is pleased to announce that Kalia Clark has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Business Development to help expand access to SBA 504 financing for small business owners across Hawai'i.

A seasoned financial professional with more than a decade of experience, Clark will focus on supporting entrepreneurs while deepening relationships within the state's small business lending community.

TMC Financing expanded to Hawai'i in 2024, extending its mission to empower small businesses with affordable, long-term commercial real estate financing. With Clark now leading local business development, TMC is reinforcing its commitment to fostering economic growth throughout the islands.

"We are thrilled to welcome Kalia to TMC Financing," said Kurt Chambliss, Executive Vice President of Business Development. "As a Hawai'i native with a proven track record in SBA lending, Kalia is the perfect person to lead our efforts in this growing market. His knowledge, integrity, and passion for supporting small businesses will be instrumental as we expand our presence across the islands."

In his role, Clark will work directly with small business owners, commercial real estate brokers, and local banks to facilitate access to SBA 504 financing. The Small Business Administration's (SBA) 504 loan program enables eligible businesses to obtain up to 90 percent financing at below-market, fixed interest rates with terms of up to 25 years. The funds may be used to purchase, construct or refinance owner-occupied commercial real estate.

Prior to joining TMC Financing, Clark held senior positions across several financial sectors, where he led high-performing teams and played a key role in building and scaling SBA lending programs. His experience spans both cashflow and collateral-based lending, with a focus on supporting small and mid-sized businesses.

"It's an honor to return home and be part of TMC's mission to uplift Hawai'i's small business community," said Clark. "The SBA 504 program is a powerful tool for building long-term stability, and I'm excited to help more local entrepreneurs turn their business goals into reality."
