BREAD BEAUTY SUPPLY is a hair care brand for textured hair, launched in 2020 by Maeva Heim, who grew up in her mother's braiding salon in Perth, Australia and previously worked as an assistant brand manager at L'Oreal. The tagline is haircare basics, for not so basic hair, and the products are a deliberately simplified routine built to cut down wash-day time for curly, coily, kinky, relaxed and braided hair.
Core products include the Hair-Oil styling gloss and an ultra-hydrating clarifying wash, along with masks, curl creams and hair towels. Bread was the first Australian brand accepted into the Sephora Accelerate incubator and was backed by the Fearless Fund, and it is now stocked in more than 1,000 stores across the US, UK and Australia, including Sephora, Ulta, Boots, Space NK, Selfridges and Amazon. In April 2025 the brand was acquired by CODB Holdings, the holding company founded by Topicals chief executive Olamide Olowe and president Sochi Mbadugha, making it CODB's first brand; founder Maeva Heim no longer owns it.
The US base is Los Angeles and the brand sells online and through retail partners. Shop the range online or email the team.
