Amazulu Collections

Amazulu Collections is a Black-owned boutique in Philadelphia, celebrating Black cultural expression through wearable art and apparel for over 30 years. Located in the historic Reading Terminal Market at 1136 Arch Street, it's a place "where cultures meet."

The collections span clothing, jewelry, hats, coats, home decor, and hair care — thoughtfully designed to be inclusive and gender-neutral so anyone can find something that speaks to them. Amazulu's classic pieces sit alongside Urban Karma Wear, its line of modern apparel, and include standouts like the Nikki Giovanni Jacket. Throughout the store, you'll find design and messaging inspired by the words of Black activists and writers like Angela Davis and Maya Angelou, turning fashion into a form of cultural celebration.

Beyond the shop, Amazulu also runs Amazulu @ BOK, a workshop and community space that extends its mission of creativity and connection.
