Dragon Shogun Dojo - Central Arkansas

Learn martial arts that actually work at Dragon Shogun Dojo, a Black-owned Chinese martial arts school serving Central Arkansas. Unlike forms-focused schools, Dragon Shogun Dojo emphasizes practical, combat-oriented training — real skills for real self-defense — taught in a welcoming, community-minded environment where new students of every level feel at home.

The dojo specializes in authentic Chinese disciplines. Students train in Ip Man Wing Chun Kung Fu, the Hong Kong system made famous by Bruce Lee, as well as Sanshou (Chinese kickboxing with throws and takedowns) and Chinese MMA, which blends Sanshou with Chin Na grappling techniques. It's a well-rounded approach that builds striking, clinch, and self-defense skills that hold up when it counts.

There's a program for every age and goal. Kids and youth learn confidence and safety through a non-forms self-defense approach, teens ages 12–18 can join the AmaZulu Project, and adults can train for fitness, discipline, and practical fighting ability.
