Eagan Orthodontics PC

Eagan Orthodontics is a third-generation orthodontic practice on West 12 Mile Road in Southfield, Michigan, serving families in the northwest Detroit suburbs. The practice was established in 1955 by Dr. John Eagan, the first African American orthodontist in the state of Michigan. Today it is led by his son, Dr. J. Victor Eagan, together with Dr. Javen Durham, carrying forward decades of experience in straightening teeth and building healthy bites.

The practice treats children, teens and adults. Early orthodontic treatment helps guide growing jaws, adolescent treatment addresses alignment during the teen years, and adult treatment gives grown-ups a second chance at the smile they want. Options include traditional metal braces, clear braces, Invisalign clear aligners and the Damon self-ligating bracket system, which is designed for fewer appointments, less discomfort and faster treatment. The office also coordinates orthognathic surgery for patients who need jaw correction.

Eagan Orthodontics offers in-house financing to help families manage the cost of treatment. Patients come from Southfield, Detroit, Oak Park, Farmington Hills, Lathrup Village and across Oakland County.
