Epara Skincare is a luxury skincare brand founded by Ozohu Adoh, who launched it in 2017 after struggling to find luxury products formulated for women of colour. The name comes from the Nigerian Ebira dialect and means to cocoon oneself, which is a fair description of how the line is meant to be used. Formulations are built on African botanicals, among them marula, moringa, baobab and sacha inchi, and were developed with a laboratory in the United Kingdom.
