Gooey On the Inside is the dessert shop Kafi Dublin started in 2017, and the name is a promise it keeps. The Lower East Side shop on Chrystie Street bakes thick, soft-centered cookies in rotating flavors, along with dessert jars layering cake, cookie and cream, cupcakes and other sweet treats, served warm when you want them that way.
The shop grew from a small operation into a New York favorite on the strength of the product and a cult following online, with a second location on Christopher Street in the West Village. Cookies and dessert jars can be ordered online for pickup or delivery, and the shop takes orders for parties, events and gifts.
