Highbrow Hippie is a holistic beauty and hair atelier in Venice, California, co-founded by Kadi Lee, a celebrity colorist whose clients have included Julia Roberts, and Myka Harris. It began in 2011 as a community platform before becoming a business, and the atelier at 1617 Abbot Kinney Boulevard opened in 2019 as a space for hair and whole-body care together.

The shop is open to walk-in visitors Wednesday through Saturday, ten to six, and services are booked by phone at (310) 363-7542 or by email during those hours. In 2024 the pair launched their own hair care and wellness product line, built around scalp condition, stress, hormones and internal health rather than hair alone, an approach that treats what is going on underneath as part of the work.
