Imhotep Academy

This is our first year at Imhotep Academy and we couldn't be more excited about what we see. Our daughter loves going to school. Each day she is excited to tell us about what she did in school. The teachers are so good with the students. They are patient, loving, and caring. They make learning fun for the kids. They teach on an advanced level but on a level that works for each individual student. No child is treated differently. All students are treated equally and fairly. The administration is very welcoming and friendly. They are very hands-on with making sure the staff has all the tools necessary to conduct in a healthy and happy environment. Best of all under the current environmental circumstances with Covid-19, the Director of the school has implemented multiple precautions to safeguard the school, staff, and students as best as possible including cleaning/sanitizing carpet, installing sanitizing stations throughout, requiring multiple pairs of shoes, updated the HVAC system, etc. Thus far we have been able to make it through half a year with no illnesses. I am happy we have chosen this school for our daughter. She is thriving! I am a volunteer on the PTA Board working with an amazing group of other parent volunteers. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a private institution that is black owned and operated. It is very family oriented and has the small family feel.
