Jessica Rich is a Black-owned luxury footwear brand from Los Angeles, founded by self-taught designer and former TV personality Jessica Rich. A Grand Rapids, Michigan native, Rich worked in fashion PR and opened an online fashion store in 2015 before debuting her first shoe line, Transparent, in 2017. With no formal fashion school behind her, she built one of the most recognizable heel brands on social media.
The brand is known for clear and see-through designs that pair with almost any outfit, plus bold platforms, mules and sandals. Popular styles include the Fancy stiletto, the So Bossy slide, love-themed platforms and the Coco mule, whose transparent panels are designed to elongate the leg. Seasonal colors like bright orange with clear straps make it easy to dress up warm-weather looks. Jessica Rich shoes have been worn by many well-known celebrities, and the brand became one of the first Black-owned shoe lines sold at Bloomingdale's.
