Kkira, also known as Kkira Feet Shoes, is a Black woman-owned footwear brand founded by designer Mauryn Kkira. Originally from Uganda, Mauryn has called Boston home for about 25 years, and she started the brand after years of being unable to find everyday shoes that were fun to wear. Her first design was featured in Vogue Italia, and the collection quickly grew to more than one hundred styles.
Kkira shoes are designed in Boston and handmade in Italy, and they are all about color, self-expression and joy. Think playful prints, bold color blocking and unexpected mixes, like the Moxie wedge, which pairs classic polka dots with striking zebra stripes.
