LiveArts Studio is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community-based art studio space which provides classes on- and off-site to children, families and adults throughout the year. In our studio, we have an art gallery which exhibits artwork. The studio was conceived as a space to develop artistic talent, creative interests and to help individuals use their skill as a form of entrepreneurship. We now include art therapy as an expanded feature to support children and adults with mental wellness through artistic expression. The studio was designed on principles that define our approach and emphasizes the values and characteristics fundamental to how business is carried out. It governs how we approach all that we do, from program delivery to the instructional style used to teach. LAS provides a variety of art education services which include, but are not limited to summer art camps, after-school and in-school art, early childhood art, and facility rental. Our vision is to cultivate learners through art; use art as a source of economic empowerment; to integrate the arts as a tool for improving lives and building relationships with others through expressive engagement.
