ROSEN Skincare is an acne-focused, research-backed skincare line founded in 2017 by Jamika Martin, who started the brand as a UCLA student after years of struggling with her own acne. It is positioned as the next generation of breakout care, built for real, textured and deeper skin tones that mainstream acne brands overlooked. Hero products include the Honey and Kojic dark spot patches, the Break-Out cleanser and the Super Smoothie bundle.
The brand was part of Target's Takeoff accelerator 2018 cohort, raised two million dollars from the New Voices Fund in 2022 and rolled out to roughly 800 Ulta Beauty stores, and the homepage cites more than 35,000 customers. Martin has also launched Flora Studios, an Austin-based contract manufacturer and formula developer for emerging BIPOC beauty brands.
