Rutgers Health University Dental Associates

Rutgers Health University Dental Associates is the faculty practice of Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, New Jersey's only dental school and the state's largest provider of oral health care. The Newark office on Bergen Street sits on the Rutgers Health campus, with a second faculty practice office in New Brunswick.

Unlike the school's student clinics, the faculty practice is staffed by the experienced dentists and specialists who teach at the school. Patients can see a general dentist for checkups, cleanings and restorative care, or be referred within the same building to specialists in oral surgery, periodontics, endodontics, orthodontics, prosthodontics and pediatric dentistry. The school's history in Newark stretches back to 1956, when it was founded as part of the Seton Hall College of Medicine and Dentistry, later becoming part of UMDNJ and then Rutgers University in 2013.
