The Village Retail is a Black-owned storefront in Atlanta built on a simple idea: the best Black-owned brands deserve a real home on a real shelf. You'll find it inside Ponce City Market at 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Suite 225, in the heart of the Old Fourth Ward.

Walk in and you'll find apparel for her and for him, bath and beauty, skincare, candles, home goods, accessories, and health and wellness products — every one of them from a Black-owned brand. The team curates what comes through the door, so shopping here feels less like scrolling a giant marketplace and more like being introduced to makers one by one. Brands rotate, so there is usually something new since your last visit.

The store was born during the pandemic, when its founders set out to build a space where culture, commerce, and community meet. That intention shows up in the details: products with stories behind them, a staff who can tell you those stories, and a weekend vending program that brings new Black-owned brands into the shop at Ponce City Market.
