Victor Glemaud

Victor Glemaud is a New York knitwear label launched in 2006 by Haitian-American designer Victor Glemaud, who was raised in Queens. The house is known for statement knitwear designed, in its own words, for all people, genders, races, sizes and personalities: color-forward sweaters and knit pieces that are not cut for one body type.

The brand has since rebranded and now presents itself simply as GLEMAUD, trading as Glemaud Industries, Inc.; the old victorglemaud.com address redirects to glemaud.com, which is where the current collection lives. Glemaud started out as a design assistant to Patrick Robinson while studying at FIT, then worked at KCD, Paco Rabanne and Tommy Hilfiger before starting his own line. He was a finalist in the 2017 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund and has been honored by Haiti's Ambassador to the United States.
