We Dream in Colour is a Black-owned, self-funded, independent jewelry line founded by Jade Gedeon, who began making jewelry in 2002; her sister Mika Gedeon joined full-time in 2011 as co-owner. The pieces are handmade in brass, sterling and mixed metals by an all-women team in the brand's own studio, with a stated focus on sustainability.
The studio and shop have moved since earlier listings placed them in Salem: they are now at 166 Main Street in the historic coastal town of Essex, Massachusetts, about forty minutes north of Boston, with a second space, the Annex, at 164 Main carrying botanical-themed goods. The shop is open Tuesday through Sunday and closed Mondays, appointments are available outside regular hours, and there is private parking behind the building. Alongside the retail shop, the brand sells wholesale to boutiques nationwide and is carried by retailers including Fanm Djanm and Abracadabra Jewelry.
The main phone line is text-friendly if that is easier than calling. Visit the Essex shop or browse the collection online and pick out something handmade.
